Product Development Projects

CSU x Spyder
Spyder came to our product development class with the prompt of making a collaboration with CSU.
The brand wanted to explore the idea of what a Spyder collection may look like if designed for student, garments to be worn on game day, sold in our CSU bookstore etc...
After doing research on Spyder and getting a deeper understanding of the brand, my group members and I were presented with out first problem.
How would we take a brand with such a specified target consumer and present it in a way that could appeal to our entire student body.
Our solution: Developed a collection that nodes to three broad dress cultures we see on campus.
Plains
Campus
Mountains
Western leaning garments
CSU was founded as agriculture college in the 1870s. This as well as our plains to the east, and in extension the western/ranch culture that comes with it. Our group notices the need for this representation through our designs.
Game day garments
This category was all about CSU pride and focused on the appealing the average RAM on campus. Streetwear, casual styles that are designed for any campus activity.
Ski/ Mountain garments
Although we may be in the plains, many students participant in the mountain culture that is only a few minute drive away.

Deconstructed Bag
The goal with this project was to reverse engineering of a completed product. After finding a secondhand shoulder bag I deconstructed, took a list of all materials, and developed a detailed 3D render and tech pack for the product.
There were many technical Clo3D skills that I did not have in my tool belt that were required to make a good render of this bag. With program research and some hours spent exploring the tools Clo had to offer I was able to overcome these hurdles
