Who am I?

Hello, my name is Morgan (He, Him), I'm currently a student at Colorado State University working towards my Bachelors of Science in Apparel and Merchandising under the concentration in Product Development. I have a background in apparel production working with embroidery and screen-printing methods. I'm passionate about making products that consumers can pass through generations, while insuring that future exists through means of production and supply chain.

I grew up in a rural town in northern IL, which exposed me to the dress of outdoor labor and activities, as well as athletics. As I grew older I began to expose myself to more urban environments. This gave me a new perspective on why people dress in the ways they choose, shifting from noticing the functionality of clothing to the identity and socialization side of dress. While studying at CSU I find myself using this exposure to direct my philosophy of dress and inspire me to work on products that fulfill both the representation of an individual aesthetically and just as importantly offer the wearer tangible specialized features that will benefit them throughout their experience with the garment.
